Assumptions

The assumptions for Subject7-JIRA integration are as follows:

• There is a parent story ticket in JIRA which maps to a series of testing subtasks (i.e. manual or automated test cases) to support it
• Parent story ticket in JIRA is mapped to a test suite. In order to make this mapping, create the story in your JIRA and enter its ticket number in the Ref ID of the test suite where all of the supporting test cases will be children of this story.
• Create your manual and automated tests to support the parent story ticket under this test suite. When this test case gets associated with JIRA through Subject7, a JIRA ticket will be created by Subject7 as a subtask to this test suite
• Any defects created through Subject7 will not be associated with any parent tasks
