Lock/Unlock a Code Snippet

In order to lock/unlock a code snippet, click on the name of the code snippet to open Edit screen and then click on Lock/Unlock as needed. If a code snippet is locked, no other user can modify it unless that user is the owner of it. If a code snippet is unlocked, any user can modify it. Only the owner of the code snippet and a user with admin role can perform locking/unlocking.

Alternatively, you can click on the checkbox next to the code snippet name and click Lock/Unlock as below:

Tip

The State column on the Code Snippets page will show you who locked the code snippet to make it easy for coordination. In the image above, the first code snippet is locked by the user, while the second one is unlocked.

Tip

Admin users can unlock any code snippets belonging to other users.
