Lock/Unlock an SSH Connection

Lock/Unlock an SSH Connection

In order to lock/unlock an SSH connection, click on the name of the SSH connection to go to the Edit screen and then click on Lock/Unlock as needed. If an SSH connection is locked, no other user can modify it unless that user is the owner of it. However, if the SSH Connection is unlocked, any user can modify it. Only the owner of the SSH connection and a user with admin role can perform locking/unlocking.

Alternatively, you can click on the checkbox next to the SSH name and click Lock/Unlock as below:

Tip

The State column on the SSH Connections page will show you who locked the SSH Connection to make it easy for coordination.

Tip

Admin users can unlock any SSH Connections belonging to other users.
