Grouping allows you to combine multiple steps into a group with multiple groups in a test case for better organization and for easier readability. In order to create a group:

  1. Click on the checkbox next to the first and last steps for the group

  2. Click the Group the range of selected steps icon in the toolbar

  3. Enter a name for your group and click OK

  4. The selected steps and all steps in between will be added to the group, with automatic indenting to make it easy to see the contents of the group

  5. You can click Collapse All or Expand All icons on your test to see or hide the individual group steps

Modifying Groups

  1. You can add new steps to the group by hovering over the group step and selecting Prepend to group or Append to group

  2. You can remove the entire group and bring all steps out of the group by clicking Ungroup

  3. You can also rename the group by clicking on the step caption to view the Group Options as shown below
